Skilled Workers

Lacked of skilled workers puts off investor. This is what I have read today in the STAR paper . We have realised this much earlier and before 308 in the year of 2008, we have been organising a lot of seminars, talks, conferences etc-etc on all these issues. However, we received cold respond from the people at large. We must realise that the country is made up of all walks of life and in order to succeed in the nation building all level of workers are required. We cannot based on the intellect to build the country neither can we depend on the leaders to build the country. We need the whole nation to build the country together. Skilled worker is part and parcel of our society and it shall not be little, without this level of human resource, the nation building afford will not be successful. Therefore, the government shall take all steps to ensure that the system of production of skilled worker is revamp and proper attention and emphasis should be placed thereon.

I had an experience with one of the outsource skill worker training centre when we have sponsored a student to and to find out that the training centre is in dilapidated stage which is pathetic for the study environment. Such centre was an authorised centre by one of the ministry in the year of 2006. These issue has to be taken into consideration by the government.

We all want our nation to become the developed nation in 2020. If go by the report today can we succeed?

PR's Conflicting Views

PR used to say we fight for the betterment of whole Malaysia irrespective of whether you are a Malay, Chinese, Indian or others. That is marvelous and exciting ideology. However, many issues after this have seen that they do not walk the talk and do not talk the walk.

Just few days ago, PAS said that when PR took over Putrajaya, hudud law will be introduce in stages. DAP keep mum and no says anything about it. Is this silence tantamount to agreement? What does PKR say? Nothing! Is this for the people and for whole Malaysian?

When DSAI said LKS will be the DPM, I thought that is true! Then, PAS said not discussed before, no one knows about it! Even LGE said never discussed before? LKS when asked said no comment!

If it is not discussed before then why did DSAI said so? I thought DSAI must either be in entirely full control of PR or it is another 916?

Today came the Guru of PR, Nik Aziz, once you are a muslim you can even be PM or DPM. Hah! I thought they are talking about policy of Malaysian. Or no he is segregating people in Malaysia with religion but race! A new policy of PR?Is this all agreed by PR member? Is this what we called the common platform? Common principle?

Why we do not the PR member giving their views on what Tok Guru Nik Aziz had just said? YB LKS, YB KARPAL, YB LGE, YB TCK, YB CE, YB TNC, YB LWS, YB TONY PUA, YB LLY, YB TIAN CHUA, YB LKB, YB HANNAH YEOH, etc-etc where are you all?

Jamal Talks Again

Jamal is now talking about unity of the country. Strangely, he linked unity of the country to the teaching medium in the school. Why should one think that teaching medium is the stumbling block to national unity? Has he forgotten that, when he was suspended that, the nation was defending him without having regards to the language that he was using! Has him also forgotten that when he was suspended no one actually talk about him being of what race? Come on, unity is not just what language you speak, what food you eat and what religion you are.

Sadly, having benefited from the language he is now implying that the language will become a stumbling block to unity. Illogical!

ISA Should be In Action Now

If at all ISA is still relevant in the current state of the affair in the Country, then such operation shall be put into force these few days. I am not advocating that ISA shall be maintained, however at the moment it is still the law in the country. A person, no matter how high his position may be, he shall abide by the law in the country.

I personally is of the opinion that since the a special officer in the Prime Minister Department Datuk Nasir had made such statement which I would see it as a threat to the national security (because it would create havoc in the country if suc thing is not handle properly) shall be arrested under such law, ISA.

His action of resigning from the post would not spare him the consequences of making such statement. Eventhough, the Minister in the Ministry of Home Affair had said that he will be investigated under the Seditious law, I think it warrants a more stringent measure taking into the account the gravity of the statement.

Further, such statement is against the 1Malaysia concept by his own BOSS, the PM?

High Legal Fees and Costs Mar Joy of Owning PPR Units

I read a report on page M4 of the The Star on 15th January 2010 that says High Legal Fees and Costs Mar Joy of Owning PPR Units.

First of all, I would agree that PPR units is meant for lower income group in the country. I suppose that those units shall be units of houses that is below the RM100,000.00 or even at a price as low as a couple of ten thousands. Let us presumed that it is within the range of RM25,000.00 to RM100,000.00. Basing on the the range of price above the Legal Fees on Sale and Purchase Agreement shall not be more than RM1,000.00 as provided by the Solicitors' Remuneration Order 2006. However, if the property is governed by the Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Act 1966 [Act 118] the Solicitors Remuneration Order 2006 also provides that the following shall apply:-

a) RM250, if the consideration is RM45,000 or below;
b) 75% of the applicable scale fee specified, if the consideration is in excess of RM45,000.00 but not more than RM100,000.00;
c) 70% of the applicable scale fee specified, if the consideration is in excess of RM100,000.00 but not more than RM500,000.00; or
d) 65% of applicable scale fee specified, if the consideration is in excess of RM500,000.00

If it is a sale and purchase that is not governed by the Act 118, the scale fee shall be as follows:-

First RM150,000.00 the fees to be charged shall be 1% (subject to minimum of RM300)
For the next RM850,000.00, the fees to be charged shall be 0.7%
For the next RM2,000,000.00, the fees to be charged shall be 0.6%
For the next RM2,000,000.00, the fees to be charged shall be 0.5%
For the next RM2,500,000.00, the fees to be charged shall be 0.4%
Where the consideration or the adjudicated value is in excess of RM7,500,000.00, the fees to be charged shallnegotiable on the excess (but shall not exceed 0.4% of such excess)

Based on the above it is actually very clear, whether the legal fees charged on the PPR units are excessive or otherwise. It is easily escertaineable by the leaders who brought the issue through the press. Do some calculation you will know. The leaders will definately have friend who is lawyer. If he does not have one(amazingly), bring the matter to BAR Council, the question will be answered. Why do they HAVE TO bring the issue through the press. What is their mitive? Publicity or Politise the issue?

It is said that upon execution of the Sale and Purchase Agreement, the purchasers has to pay a sum of RM5,582.00 shall be referred to the Bar Council for clarification. One shall also look into the invioce properly. What are the charges meant for?

I am of the opinion that making a sweeping statement and put the blame on the High Legal Fees will not solve the issue. I personally had an experience with this issue when a real case of overcharged was brought to me, it was settled without any press conference or press release.

政府必须认真看待人民

大家说：308是人民告诉政府人民有很多不满了！也有很多人说这些都是因为某些政党对人民不公平所带来的。但我个人的浅见是每个身在其位者都有责任。您们必须好好的应用自己的权力为人民，为百姓处理繁多的事件。繁多事件中有以下：-
1。内长说犯罪率下降了，但是他可知道有很多地方还是有问题呢？比如说有人被抢了五万元，三年后，还是没影没踪。这到底是为什么？难道得到KPI130%的警察无能为力吗？
2。老调重提的事件，每一年父母亲总是要带着孩子们为入学而烦。不但自己烦，联大人物也一起烦！有的明明住家两公里内有学校，但孩子被派到十多公里外的学校去。这些官员到底是为人民添麻烦呢还是为人民解决麻烦啊？
3。华小师资问题更加辣手咯！年复年，都没办法解决啊！
4。单亲家庭问题，政府拨出RM15 Million,为什么不是1MALAYSIA的慨念来拨呢？
5。马来西亚的经济蛋糕还足够吗？让各民簇共享？
6。贪污事件又如何啊！
7。还有。。。

问题一大堆！！！哎呀！！！

没有高官涉及

总检察长说：大马空军军机引擎案件，没有高官涉及！谢天谢地！一个保护国家主权既安全的机构，如果高官都监守自盗那这个国家还有救吗？话虽然这么说，但是如果没有高官涉及，那不是更可怕吗？那么这个国家的安全系统不是很有问题吗？一个保卫深严的空军基地，怎么那么不知不觉让人把战斗机给毁了（引擎不在战斗机还有用吗）。引擎在20/12/2007及1/1/2008被偷都不知道！等到22/5/2008才发现。他也说太多人涉及此案，我想请问一问他，是不是太多人涉及就不必追究啊！难道国家的安全及主权比不上个人的权益吗？太可怕了！

Yang Berhormat Yang Tidak Berhormat

Baru-baru ini kita nampak banyak perkara yang tidak sepatutnya berlaku telah berlaku di dalam Negara Kita. Negara kita yang selama ini berasa bertuah kerana tidak dilanda bencana alam telah berlaku pelbagai bencana yang tidak dapat dielakkan dengan kuasa manusia. Misalnya, negara kita telah dilaporkan mengalami satu gempa bumi di kawasan sekitar Negeri Sembilan. Kita dikatakan tidak berada dalam lingkungan bumi yang akan terjadi gempa bumi tetapi ia berlaku. Ini merupakan bencana alam yang tidak dapat kita elakkan.

Akan tetapi, baru-baru ini negara kita juga telah mengalami satu bencana yang dikatakan amat pelik. Ada seorang pendidik yang sebelum ini dihormati telah mengatakan bahawa pelajar-pelajar dari sekolah sjk(c) adalah lebih cenderung kepada meniru (atau copycat). Ia menjelaskan bahawa, pelajar-pelajar sjk(c) ini lebih cenderung kepada peniruan dan bukan jenis pelajar yang kreatif. Ini merupakan satu kenyataan yang tidak masuk akal langsung dan telah mengenepikan usaha-usaha sjk(c) sejak kemerdakaan yang telah melahirkan insan-insan yang menjadi batu pengasas kepada pembangunan negara. Apakah dia sudah lupa bahawa penerima-penerima anugerah antarabangsa sama ada dalam bidang sains dan teknologi dari Negeri China juga merupakan orang-orang telah menggunakan bahasa Cina sebagai penghantaranya seperti di sjk(c). Kalau ianya benar maka kenapa orang yang dilahirkan melalui sistem pendidikan yang sama masih boleh memenangi anugerah antarabangsa? Wlaubagaimanpun kenyataannya itu mungkin benar kalau ditujukan kepada seorang YB dari Pulau Pinang, tahun lepas meniru soalan orang; tahun ini YB itu pula meniru SMS kawannya. Itu kenyataannya sendiri. Kalau ia benar, maka YB meniru sekali lagi. Maka benarlah kalau Professor itu mengatakan ada orang lebih cenderung kepada peniruan.

Yang lebih pelik lagi adalah seorang YB telah memilih kasih. Ada YB telah membelasah kerajaan kerana memberi satu kontrak kepada konco-konconya kata YB itu. Tetapi yang menjdi tidak begitu berhormatnya adalah beliau tidak memberi maklumat yang lebih terperinci siapakah yang telah menandatangani kontrak tersebut untuk kerajaan pada masa itu tahun 1996? Tidakkah sebagai seorang YB beliau sepatutnya bertanggungjawap kepada rakyat dan membongkarkan sebarang ketidakadilan tidak kira sama ada itu daripada kawan ataupun lawan ? Kenapa YB itu telah mengenepikan sebahagian infomasi pada masa yang sama telah mendedahkan sebahagaian infomasi pula. Tidakkah YB tak sepatutnya berbuat demikian, allowance MPnya juga merupakan cukai yang telah kita bayar. Kitalah orang sepatutnya beliau wakili. Ini adalah kenyataan yang sama dengan apa yang mereka katakan sebelum ini.

Yang lebih pelik dan menyedihkan adalah perbuatan memijak gambar-gambar sesama insan yang telah dinamakan pembelut. Kita semua diajar di sekolah bahawa kita mestilah saling hormat-menghormati di antara satu sama lain. Kita tidak sepatutnya bersikap biadap terhadap sesiapapun. Pada hari itu, kita melihat ramai Yang Berhormat-Yang Berhormat yang sepatutnya menjadi teladan kepada kita rakyat jelata telah menunjukkan satu contoh yang amat menyedihkan dan juga dikatakan biadap iaitu memijak orang. Manakala, di barisan yang satu lagi, membakar gambar juga adalh satu perbuatan yang keji dan juga tidak bersikap yang sepatutnya. Manakah demokrasi yang selama ini kita perjuangkan? Kalau ia pun tidak puas hati biarlah kita rakyat yang tentukan pada pilihanraya yang akan datang.

Semoga, negara kita tidak lagi dilanda bencana yang pelik ini pada masa-masa yang akan datang.

国宝

中国主席来访马来西亚，对于我们这一群在马来西亚土生土长的华裔同胞来说是另一番感觉的。来马来西亚的行程是多么的频密的，让我感觉到好像是非常匆忙般的。中国与马来西亚建交35年是经过多种挑战及辛苦经营的成果。各国的情形不同是不可以同样一个标准来衡量的。

我对今日有一位仁兄说，马来西亚不比星加坡，看星加坡获中国国宝而马来西亚没有什么宝物，又不能苟同的地方。难道， 我方与中国的双边贸易还不是宝吗？难道中国同意向我国购买棕油产品不是时下最好的礼物吗。我们最需要的是把马来西亚的经济搞好让人民能安居乐业。 中马所达成的双边合作的经济项目是人民所期盼的。

世界对中国的尊敬，不外为他是一个经济强国。各国都希望能得到这位大的哥的青睐。所以说此话的人不但是那种在鸡蛋里挑骨头的人，还是那种不把人民的生活环境的改善与否放在第一位的从政者。我对这种为反对而反对的作风不能同意。我希望那位领袖能反省自己。

All Included In The Plan

Reading from the papers today (THE STAR), it sound very convincing that the Preseident who has lost in the EGM dated 10/10/2009 had a unity plan to include all MCA members in the Plan. This include from the grassroots level. He wants genuine and sincere participation from the members. I wander why the leaders have always imposed such high standard on the members when they themslves have yet to show a quality of such high standard.

In fact if we look at all the members of the Party, everyone wish to have unity plan but such plan shall be transparent and truely unity. However history prove that more often than not such plan is usually benefitting the side who has hold on to the power instead of the others who champion it. This can be seen in many instances before this. Everytime when there is an infighting, there are bound to be a losser. Especially in grassroots we can see that there are many members being sideline, membership not found, etc-etc. These members I believe are members who love the Party sincerely and geniunely but see what had happened to them? If go further deep down now, you can still hear members talking about Tan Fraction (陈派) and Liang Fraction (梁派). This is reality of life that cannot be denied.

In this instances, when the President who has lost in the EGM dated 10/10/2009 who is also Johor State liason committee chairman called for meeting of the State MCA Liason Committee, I was all prepared to attend the meeting, a night before the day, I received a call from another liason committee member informing me that the meeting was postponed to another date to be determined. It is the prerogative of Chairman to call and cancel meeting, no question about it, however my question is why certain people received SMS directly from the Political Secretary of the Chairman but certain people do not? Why? Aren't you talking about unity? You have selected certain members to be included in your plan?

互相尊重的民族

我今天对一个源流学校的说法发表了自己的看法，对以这种言伦再三的发生觉得有关人士是非常不理智的。大马历史学家邱家博士日前提倡单源流学校的建议，感到极度的不满。并严厉谴责任何不利华文教育的言论再次涌现，伤害华社的感受及破坏国民团结。
尽管副相丹斯慕尤丁表明在推行单一源流学校前，将会以开放的态度来探讨各方所给予有关概念的回响，但是有关概念确实不符合现任首相拿督斯⾥纳吉所推动的“1个马来西亚”的治国理念。我认为，此课题一再的被挑起，国阵政府理应严正看待，以避免受到人民的唾弃。
马青州团在在强调，事实显示人民在国家现有的健全教育制度下受教育，各族间经促成互相尊重彼此所选择的学习环境。无论是出自任何的源流学校，都是应用同样的课程纲要，都能培育出健全的国民。更何况，华文源流学校的存在是百益而无一害。华文教育对这个国家的贡献也是不容许被质疑的。
当全球都在强调多元及开放政策时，这一批学术界及政治界人士应改变狭隘的视角。接受多元化共存的事实。一再发表不切实际的误导性言论，不断的蓄意制造多源流学校导致国民间不团结的假象，无疑是进一步加深各族间的猜忌与不满。
只有当国阵政府采纳公正及惠及全民的施政，让各族人民感受到生活得到保障，能够依照各自的意愿，自由选择宗教、文化及教育的法方式，那马来西亚的国民团结问题，将自然获得全面的解决。

Ban Ban Ban

Wind of change is now a new brand. When there is change in respect of one particular product the most sophiticated jargon that we use is rebranding of the product. More often that not the rebranding will attract attention of people. A lot people will be interested to see and observe the change, while the other will not be bother to take interest in it. It is either they have no time or their voice are no where to be heard. My question is can we actually ignore the minority group in the society? Obviously the answer is negative, we all know.

However, recent development we can see that a lot of people are talking about the ban, ban, ban on sale of alcohol drink in certain area when it is dominated by Muslim. I would like to stress here that I am in no way against any religion. All religion are good noble teaching of the decipher. It teaches good values, noble values and conduct of human nature. I particularly would like to voice my dissatisfaction over such proposal to ban sale of alcoholic drinks of such manner. Are neglecting the wish of minority in the area? Isn't all citizen are to enjoy all rights equally? Isn't all infrastructure has to be enjoyed by all walk of life equally? If this so why are we banning sale on certain product at certain place where one group of people may not need while the other may require its presence? Let demand and supply dictate the market. That is what we call FREEDOM .

A Clip of Accused being Brutally Abused By the Authority

Early Morning today (3am) due to my own busy schedule I was still awake. My phone suddenly vibrated and started ringing informing me that there was a message coming in. Having read the message I was very angry and sad. The message read as "From a Friend - hurry check out a clip of xxx being brutally abused by authority".

Of course having read this I checked, I was disappointed. I was very disappointed simply for these few reasons:-

a) When I check out, it is not clear at all and I was unable to verify who wa the person beaten up!
b) Why was the person beaten up?
c) Who are the people that is beating up the person?
d) How can these people be so brutal?(if it is real!!!)

I really hope that the authority takes it seriously, take a proactive action against these "nila setitik" otherwise the confidence level on the authority will continue to drop.

The Prime Minister, The Home Minister and the Cabinet should take serious note and action about this matter. Anyone that watching this clip will definately place the blam on the current government. THE PANIC ALARM is on now!!!

I am particularly awaiting for some comments and action by the government!

Sense of Responsibility

I read a report in THE STAR dated 5th March 2009 page N3 with disappointment. Everytime when there are some problems, the first thing to be blamed is the "act of god". The report said "TWO MONTHS OF RAIN IN JUST TWO HOURS". The report also stated that DID director described the rain as exceptional. So god sake, please do not always put the blame on the act of god. I perceived all these as irresponsible act of the officials. Be it the officials of DBKL, DID, Contractors, Planner, etc-etc. the report also said that the SMART was only used to divert the water from Sungai Klang not Sungai Gombak. All our brilliant planner, how much money have we spent on the "SMART" and it is so stupid for only one river. You are not only disappoint our own people, you had also upset so many foreigner and invester that come to the country. We saw many people on television viocing their concerned about the flood and also damaged so much property of the people. Cars were submerged, furniture on display damaged and so on.

Why is this happening? I am of the opinion that all these are happening due to irresponsible officials. The country is lacking in actual responsibility of the official. I advocate for a equally heavy punishement be meted out for the wrong that was conducted by the officials. If the rain is going to be so heavy, why are the paople not alerted by the Department, where is our "kaji cuaca"?

Is our "SMART" planned only to divert the water from Sungai Klang? Why are we not told about this ? Are the officials intended that to be that way? Was it a mistake? If it is a mistake, whose? What action are we suppose to take? Who shall take the responsibility?

I hereby urge the government to take stern action against all these officials who have made mistake/wrong. If the mistake/wrong was by the Minister, Department head, KSU, TKSU or whoever action shall be taken. We cannot afford to let these happen continuously blaming it on the "Act Of God".

武力=问题决解?

正当我国,上至高官下至平民都在为以色列的暴行做出反应时,我们国家也发生了一件让我们不可接受的不理智的校园内的风波.中国报的一册短讯让我惊愕及脑海中不断浮现一连串的问号"为什么?为什么?"唉!

校园是一个神圣的场所,它是一个我们学子学习的地方.我们时常听到:暴力是决解不了问题.有什么问题,应该心平气和的以君子方式来决解.我们应该大事化小,小事化无.我们岂能使用暴力,尤其是对一位长者.那位年轻的袭击者,不管你是为何事而对一位长者动粗,那都是一个要不得的动作.

年轻人,你要三思而后行!

不对啊,今年不比去年好.经济不景,官员们都不管.
新年有新衣,新年有新车,样样都要新.
新...车...到...了!

可不是我买新车啊!!!
我说的是霹雳州政府的新车,买了16辆;现在交了9辆的车.
那怎么办?谁该先用?
照我看呢,应该给华裔的高官先用;例如华裔的州行政议员.
他们要用新车,在人民没能力购买新车而他们又有新车(在新年期)用才显得他们才(财)尽其用啊!

"雪州民联政府不理会外头非议,决定购买每辆市价13万令吉的丰田冠丽较车,作为州行政议员及高官的官车."
这是某报今天的一侧短讯.其是这也不是什么大新闻,不必这么大阵仗的来讨论.因为我对一些人(民选官员)不存希望.我们看到一些人(民选官员),在还没被选时正义民声民怨常挂口中,人民的利益为依归,以民为本,不会让费人民的血汗钱...等等等!今天他们说你要怎么说那是你家的事,希望时间会让人民忘了他们所做所为.现在有人穿着马来服装参于宴会,之前他说我们不能出卖华裔尊严.

问题不在可不可以,问题是在为什么当年他说不可以但现在他自己又那么作呢?

霹雳州政府已定购16輛官車,豐田将取代將相为官车.以下将是我们所要问的:-
1.將相为官车不好吗?
2.將相的维修保养费很贵?
3.豐田的维修保养费又是多少一年呢?
4.现在这个时候,经纪萧条;人民痛苦,政府不是应该与民共同度过难关吗?
5.难到车子用了五年就一定要换吗?
6.不是当车子不可用时才换吗?
7.换车子又让费人民的纳税钱了?
8.你们不是应该爱民如子,怎么可以挥霍人民的血汗钱啊?
9.顧慮到州務大臣和行政議員在公路的安全性?州務大臣和行政議員行车时的时速是不是就比我们平民还快?你 们在高速公路不也是应该只行110/KM吗?难到你们行180/KM吗?
10.难到將相行110/KM是危险的吗?
11.霹雳州南北有多远?东西又有多远啊?

哎呀!你们要坐新车就干脆说要新车啦没有必要找这么多的理由来合法化你们的动作.

雪州政府还不是也一样?刘天球不也说过要购买新车?
